At 13:05 MT on October 9, 2026, we hit the one-billion-pounds-delivered mark on a slurry project in Utah.

After 6 months of continuous slurry operations, we’ve passed the one-billion-pounds milestone with no signs of stopping. PropX removed the equivalent of 20,800 truck trips over this period and eliminated just under one million round-trip road miles that would’ve been traveled. We’re pretty confident the neighbors up there are happy about that!
Some fun facts:
- 1 billion pounds of sand would cover 10 NFL football fields with sand approximately 70 feet deep.
- If you lined up 20,000 sand trucks bumper-to-bumper, that line would extend for approximately 230 miles.
- 1 billion pounds of frac sand would require approximately 4,000 railcars carrying 125 tons each, creating a train roughly 45 miles long.
- PropX presented SPE Paper #23390 at the SPE ATCE on Oct 21 entitled “Slurry Sand Delivery System – Transforming Proppant Logistics Through Pipeline-Based Slurry Transportation, Supply Chain Decoupling, and Wellsite Inventory Optimization”
